The Ice Queen

Welcome!
In an enchanting world of candle light, there
is a place where young and old can meet for a fairytime
to simply enjoy a wonderful atmosphere.
A magical winter world with some dancing ballerinas like snowflakes
blue, frosty and cold

simply roll up and stick together
as a wonderful 3D frame

Enchanting Fantasy for Scrap FX

Welcome!
Now is the best time again for fairytales, with elves, fairies, flowers and butterflies
they make it possible to create a magic world and transfer
not only kids but also adults into the land of dreams.

some details

I used the beautiful silhouette butterfly as background (cut in two parts)
very filigree and a good contrast to the mixed media background,
which was made with some fluid acrylic paints (green, blue, lavender)
added some stars and butterflies stamps

first I used black magic embossing powder and then for the lower range
a metalic blue pearl paint

a half golden lace flower as skirt and painted with some acrylic colors

GD Stamps and Stencils

Welcome Everyone!

I was so pleased to be asked to join you all
as a Guest Creative Guide here at Stamps and Stencils.

This month the challenge theme is "Tags, Bags & Boxes"
I decided to make a tag in vintage style, Mixed Media ART
a little christmas inspiration for you.

For the background I used a wonderful deer stamp, an old bookpage, glimmer mist sprays
and a metallic acrylic paint, not to forget a distress ink (Walnut Stain from Ranger)
for an altered effect.

on the left corner you will see a christmas lantern
( it's a foil chip from Tatterd Angels), painted with Snow Tex  from DecoArt
together with a pom pom ribbon.
On the upper egde a icecicle die with textured paper.
With two little tags  To - From
and small silver bells I finished my gift tag.

Many thanks for stopping by!
Happy crafting!

Light and Shadow

Welcome friends!

 Rain and Sunshine

GD A Vintage Journey

Hi everyone!

I was so pleased and honored to be asked once again to join you all
as a Guest Creative Guide here at A Vintage Journey.

This month the challenge theme is "Cracking up"

I decided to make a tag in Altered Art, industrial style, for a friend
which has just discovered her joy at painting.

I used crackle glaze on the edges for an altered, wheathered look.

together with old book pages, a crackle stamp in background
and suitable chipboards, painted with black and metallic acrylic paints.
The aged effect mainly based on Walnut Stain Distress ink.

Many thanks for stopping by!
