Halloween Fun

Hello creative friends!

-  Crash landing  -

a shadowbox with fun

Preparation

Tips & Tricks

I constructed a shadowbox with simple means, usually any food packaging is sufficient as a basis. Decisive was the top or the lid of the whole. Cut and folded to fit and the fun could begin.

From the middle a hole was torn out, with the help of a masonry template, texture paste and distress ink a background was created. Since the window seemed too small to me, I extended it to a double window, which was punched out of thin cardboard. Only the frame and the window sill were used.

Seaside Serenity for Dusty Attic

Hello creative friends!

Our summer was and is very hot and dry,
I would just like still  hang out ;-).

Who can, goes to the sea and cools down or relaxes at home in the garden.
Today I let our Sheltie swing comfortably in the hammock.

'The bare necessities - Probier's mal mit Gemütlichkeit'

I was inspired to try a new idea.
I worked with some fabric leftovers and create a sea inspired mixed media canvas.

here can you see both fabric pieces which I used for the hammock

Unfortunately I didn't have a sewing machine yet and so I used
a hot glue gun to get everything into shape and glue it together.
That worked better than I thought.

Evening by the sea for Dusty Attic

Hello creative friends!

A new moodboard which reminds me on beautiful sunset's by the sea.

'Evening by the Sea'
I use two photo's from the Baltic sea, where I love to spend our holidays.
There are no palm trees but a beautiful sandy beach where you can walk with your dog for hours.
This is true recreation and pure relaxation for us.

Unfortunately we can't go there every year and so I like to remember this time while doing handicrafts. This is one of the reasons why I love scrapbooking so much.
The use of Dusty Attic chipboards make the projects more vivid and interesting.

You can find a lot of natural style elements under Beach, Fishing, Nautical and Tropical.
