Peace and Joy - Moodboard with Dusty Attic

 

Welcome creative friends!

 

As I saw our monthly moodboard I was inspired to create a wintery layout, 

shades of blue and brown, a wonderful combination .

 

It shows a anniversary clock 

where I used this special snow bauble as a clock pendulum.

 

 

 

as you might have discovered in other projects of mine, 

I always love to combine chipboards with die cuts, this creates 3d effects in multiple layers

I only used white crackle paint and some texture paste for this amazing

 little houses with added small windows

love it!

Once upon a time with 13arts

 

Welcome everyone!

 

I was inspired to create an enchanting magical picture as a decoration 

for a child's room in mixed media art. 

 

Used a canvas frame from behind, 

glued a 30x30 paper onto the frame and cut a section into it. 

Behind it I created a small scene with a fairy tale girl, 

surrounded in a dark magical night.

 

 

was enthusiastic about 

transparency foil 'Night garden' have cut out different parts 

and framed the scene with them

for a very special 3D effect

 

also the enchanting butterflies from the 'Sunrise' collection 

were cut out and glued on,

 so that it looks like they are dancing around the moon

 I discovered first snowdrops in my garden, which always give hope for spring,

Winter delights with Dusty Attic

Welcome into the new year, 

wish you a year full of fun and joy in creative work !

It's wintertime here, cold, snow and ice have us again fully in the grip. 

Snow shoveling is again announced, an occupation  not always great joy arises, 

our dog sees that but quite different, he is completely thrilled by the snow broom 

and would like to sit on top and push along.

 

 

 

I created a mixed media layout with lots of snow and ice crystals, 

not to forget a bird house, which is especially popular in winter in our garden.

 

I found a lot of suitable theme shapes at Dusty Attic,

love the 3d optic of the bird house and the nature inspired chippies.

 

I worked mainly with white gesso and added a few color accents with diluted blue acrylic paint and a little brown. I also used die-cuts, which together with the chipboards bring more vividness and fullness to the layout. 

To bring more depth to the project, dried wood slices and branches were used.
