Halloween - Hidden treasure

Welcome!

today a new project inspiration for our monthly Steampunk Challenge

Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial

Just in time for Halloween :-)

I was in an old castle and found something there, completely dusty and forgotten.

It's a real OLD Raven - Pure True ;-).

I used black gesso and the 'Old World' Decoupage paper from DecoArt as basic together with Distress Stain Spray- Walnut ink, 3D elements were made with silicone moulds and modelling clay and painted with black gesso,

Antiquing Cream 'Patina Green' and highlighted surface with white gesso from 13@rts

using a dry brush.

Hopefully you will now feel even more inspired to create your own

altered bottle maybe as Halloween decoration or

another Steampunk project in industrial grundge style,

surprised us, we are pleased!

Halloween - Haunted Manor

Hi friends!

And with this story of the "haunted house" from my friend Claudia

began the extraordinary making of a very special house
oder auch hier

die Donnerwetter - dolle Hütte genannt ;-).

Das verwunschene Haus

Schon immer, scheints, stand an des Waldes Saume,

umhüllt von Brombeerranken, ein Gemäuer,

als wäre es entstiegen finstrem Traume.

Noch keinem Wandersmann wars dort geheuer,

der hoffnungsvoll drin Schutz und Raststatt suchte,

sich aufzuwärmen an der Stube Feuer.

Warn auch die Wandrer noch so wildverruchte -

schlugs zwölfe erst vom Kirchhof her im Turme,

da regte sich das Haus, das langverfluchte:

......

wie es weitergeht könnt ihr hier erfahren :-)

unschwer erkennbar, hier kam die Tim Holtz Village Manor Stanze von Sizzix zum Einsatz

Es gibt inzwischen so viel beeindruckende Projekte dieser Häuser im Netz zu sehen

u.a auch eins von unserer Claudia, das man fast eingeschüchtert ist.

Was soll man da noch neu erfinden???

die Antwort stand in der ersten Strophe von Claudia's Verszeilen

...ein Gemäuer,

als wäre es entstiegen finstrem Traume....

und frei von mir weiter interpretiert

...eingefangen von des Waldes starken Wurzeln

zusammen mit einer lufttrocknenden Modelliermasse und einer Silikonform habe ich ein paar Baumwurzeln modelliert, die dann mit schwarzem Gesso angemalt und nach dem Trocknen

nochmal mit grüner und weißer Antiquing cream (DecoArt) eingepudert

das Mauerwerk ist ein Hintergrundpapier das zusätzlich noch an einigen Stellen mit einem Anstrich aus Strukturpaste und verdünnten Media Fluids bearbeitet wurde

der Clou an dieser Hütte waren für mich die Dachlatten, sie sind absolut perfekt

für ein Gespensterhaus, das langverfluchte oder?!

Scrap FX - Ballerina

I want to share with you two layouts with some of our newest chipboards

from Scrap FX.

Queen of the night

I was in love with this amazing new chipboard Ballerina outline

and so I used this piece in centre together with a photo. I added a piece of tulle, a fabric flower and some embellishments to highlighted this wonderful Ballerina.
