Get well soon card

Hi dear creative friends!

Today a Thinking of You card.

I was inspired to use one of the stamps from the STAMPtember Tim Holtz set 2019.

I think they are also very awesome and useful for all cards
to put a smile on people's faces.

He is ill, the poor guy, his ears are glowing,
the nose is all red and running like a waterfall.

Diagnosis: Male Flu ;-)

Get Well Soon my friend!!

Layout - Winter Wishes

Welcome dear creative friends!

Winter is just around the corner and although I haven't been able to develop any winter feelings yet,
I was totally enthusiastic about the new 'Holiday in the Alps' collection.

I love the colour combination blue - brown - white,
optimal for every vintage style but you can also create very natural winter landscapes with it.

I chose a picture of our Sheltie during a beautiful forest walk last year.

Frightful Night by the Sea

Hello creative friends!

I know Halloween is over, but it's November, an absolute scary month for me.
Hardly sun, grey, wet and gloomy, definitely the best time
to do something encouraging for yourself.

And what could be better than to realize yourself while doing handicrafts?!

I was inspired to create new eyecatcher for my home decoration
and combined my two favs

Theme SEA and HALLOWEEN.

and used an old drawer from a flea market.

Happy cauldron

Welcome to SanDee & Amelie's Steampunk

Winter Special Challenge, dear steampunk and industrial style friends!

Our challenge theme is once again

And it's November again, this grey, cloudy and unpopular month,
where you're already in a bad mood if you just look out of the window.
You really need something to improve your mood.

I have already done some projects with the 'Cauldron' (Sizzix T. Holtz cutting die),
and still love it and what could be more obvious than cooking a lucky soup with it?!

I created a wooden plate with a bottle opener in altered art.

Tips & Tricks

 Happy cauldron

use the handle and the smoke as mouth and forehead

  1.  cut a  triangle for nose
  2. glue a small folding eye or eyelashes
  3. glue everything on the cauldron

and the funny face is already finished
I was inspired to also use an embossing folder with watches

Scary Night

Hello creative friends!

Announcing this year's most scary night - yes, it's time for Halloween,
but not those nasty bloody monster stories,
I love mystical and imaginative tales and so I was inspired
to create a new Halloween mixed media canvas.

...Once upon in a cold, gloomy night when a strange light

appeared behind the tombstone.

Who drove his mischief there??? ...

some details

bar on the gravestone creates a 3D effect and was made with a leftover from

Broken Bits #6 - Grid 1

I love to use the Movers and Shapers Headstone (Sizzix die) for a real stone look.
I created with texture paste or fine deco sand and finally dry brushed with white Gesso.

I love this old amazing strongly branched tree

Bare Tree #2

and used  only a part of the whole tree

for an old weathered wooden look I used white crackle paint on some places
and a little bit rust and black acrylic paint

some of the new

Toadstools #2

painted with diluted silver acrylic paint and highlighted with texture paste

used Dusty Attic chipboards
