Coffee Sign

 Welcome creative friends!

I was inspired to create a coffee wooden sign as masculine gift idea and inspiration,

maybe for the coffee kitchen in the office

or as a Thank You gift for a helpful friend.

In monochrome colour scheme, with texture (crackle effects)

origin coffee powder for a good aroma

and I also try out the Rusty Bronze powder with the suitable Rust Reagenz (13@rts),

 I must say very exiting!!

I used the paper 'Paint your life' from the 13arts 'Yound and Free' collection

 as background.

Together with some faux rust techniques a great suitable

grunge background for my wooden sign.

Coffee & Dogs for Dusty Attic April Moodboard

Hi creative friends!

Now it's my turn to feature a mixed media canvas using the

beautiful Dusty Attic Moodboard for April.

An absolutely gorgeous inspiration,

love all the warm stunning colours.

Photo radiates so much peace and tranquillity.

I was inspired to create a mixed media canvas with one of my favourite themes.

Dogs and Coffee makes the world go round, right?!

I used again a background paper from 13@rts Mr. Handsome collection,

love the great denim look with some steampunk elements,

always perfectly for a lot of masculine project ideas.

or a special embossing powder 'Hammered Metal'

with some motifs from the new Artbook 13@rts I created a mix of papers,

chipboards and textures

for a real look I worked with origin coffee powder and beans

Spring - Altered Book with 13arts

 Hello creative friends!

The spring has come late this year and actually it still feels like winter, with temperatures

as low as 6 degrees. But the beautiful cherry blossoms from

the 13@rts Pastel Spring collection seduced me.

I created a book in altered Art and it looks more elaborate

and complicated than it actually is.

It takes some patience to remove the pages from the book with a sharp knife.

I also love to make it not look so neat, it has more charm that way.

some close up's

a background paper and some cut out flowers from 'Pastell and Spring'

I always like to use natural dried maerialia, such as moss, birch bark,
willow catkins or feathers

love the Glass microbeads as flower pollen, here additionally colored with gold

the cut-out swing hangs freely as a 3D element

suitable chipboards were painted with Color Glow 'Rubelite' and white

I also used some motifs from transperent foil, such as clock, butterflies or cherry blossoms

The foil motifs are very easy to cut out and look like accurately stamped motifs.

I hope I could inspire you to try it out!

Time to Inspire for DT Dusty Attic

Hi creative friends!

I was inspired to create a mixed media layout in grunge style

 with a touch of steampunk.

As 3D eyecatcher I used an old brush as comfortable seat :-).

The latest 'Mr. Handsome' collection from 13@rts was perfect for my inspiration,

there you can find some very cool background papers,

stencils and Ephemera elements.

some close up's

appropriate for the grunge look I used some

faux rust techniques for the chipboards,

I also try out the Rusty Bronze powder

with the suitable Rust Reagenz (13@rts),

 I must say very exiting!!

rust effect is already apparent after a relatively short time

Happy Easter!

 Hello creative friends!

Today a very quick and simple gift idea for your home decoration.

It isn't always necessary to elaborately process or paint the MDF shapes, right?!

You can also just use them as decoration, they appear in a plain wood look,

and the engraved laser lines bring out amazing details.

1.  a small wooden box was filled with floral foam and moss

 +

Flowering Vine - Decorative Flourish Style 27

 Wildflowers in Grass

+

a few small artificial flowers, or even things you brought back

from your spring walk, complete the whole thing

or

2. a blown out decorated goose egg as a small flower vase

+

Cross with Lillies - MDF Wood Shape Style 17

Running Hare

Oval Shape - MDF Mixed Media Board as base

 that is quickly glued together

I wish you a very Happy Easter with many colourful eggs

in the green grass or perhaps still in the snow.

Flower Magic in Springtime for DT 13arts Moodboard

 Hello creative friends!

As I saw our latest April Moodboard challenge theme I was totally inspired to create a magical springtime project.

I love spring with all its delicate colours, the many blossoms

and fragrances that surround you, wonderful!!!

Use at least two colors from the board for your project, at least one product of the 13arts company. Please add the project on your IG site with the #13artsApr21 and follow @13arts account.

Be inspired by our mood board and create a project of your own. The winner will receive a giftpack full of @13arts products and will be our Guest Designer next month.

Our amazing Moodboards reminds me on days in May,

when all the cherries blossom and then fall like snow from the tree.

I used one of the latest wonderful paper collection from 13arts 'Pastell and Spring,

here you can find a pure magic of spring, simply stunning!

some close up's

I love Mixed Media themes because it's always your choice what you can bring together,

I love 3D effects and so it was really great to combine

the cherry blossoms motifs with suitable moulds.

We are looking forward to see what you come up

with this months challenge.

Happy Springtime!
