Summer, Sun & Sea - GD Scrap and Me + Dusty Attic Moodboard July

 Welcome everyone!

I was invited to create some guest design projects with the wonderful paper collections

from Scrap And Me . Thanks so much!!!

I'm a handicraft enthusiast with passion since my childhood, crafting makes me happy !

It is a wonderful relaxation and balm for the soul, it's the little things in life

that makes you happy and I love to share

this joy and want to encourage my friends and all the others to try new ideas.

I used a background paper and some flower motifs

from the amazing paper collection

'Sapphire Days'

Love the Door & Windows

 they are

a great addition,

such a lot of creative possibilities!

I have cut out the individual small windows
stuck a photo behind it and opened the window to the sea.

This creates a simple, but exciting 3D effect

Used the Dusty Attic's monthly moodboard as inspiration,

it looks like vacation,

summer holidays on the sea,

dreamy!!

used Dusty Attic chipboards

Grand Finale SASPC - Lost treasures

  Welcome to the

Grand Finale Challenge July/ August 2021,

dear steampunk and industrial style friends!

I would like to invite you to play along with our two months

It is an "Anything Goes - Steampunk/Industrial" themed one again and instead of the usual month you have until the end of August to enter up to five (instead of the usual three) entries this time.

I was inspired to create some steampunk pen boxes in altered art.

I rediscovered my creative passion in the last weeks. I simply love to work
with moulds and modelling clay.

Here is an upcyling idea, I used two simply plastic cups as base
 and modeled with silicone moulds
(from IOD Prima Marketing
Katy Sue Designs).

ATC's with texture

 Hello!

Today a new inspiration with MDF shapes.

I created two artistic trading cards in nature style.

Love to use and play with textures for interesting effects.

Use some outcast's made with silicone moulds, textile ribbons,

and some small suitable MDF shapes.

Worked with chalky paints and highlighted with creme waxes.

Wild Poppies with 13@rts

 Hello!

I was inspired to create a scrapbooking layout with 3D effect.

Love the colours of the beginning summer

and the red poppies on meadows and fields are part of it.

Chose the 'Unforgettable' collection  from 13arts, beautiful colors and motifs

for a nature inspired layout. Foil wreath comes from the 'In Love' collection.

How you can see, I used transparency foil as a wreath on a willow wreath.

Foil was painted from backside with acrylic flowers.

Behind the foil I created a small meadow

world with grasses, daisies and butterflies.

Mr. Seaworld - GD with Katy Sue Designs

 Hi creative friends!

I was invited to create some guest design projects with the amazing silicone moulds

from Katy Sue Designs. Thanks so much!!!

In focus, one of my favourite themes - The SEA with all  its infinite possibilities.

Firstly I choose the Green Man mould, love this expressive face.

My personal challenge was to change the Green Man in a Blue Man lol.

I worked with air drying clay and used not the whole mould but only the awesome face.

I added some sea animals, like shells, seahorses, starfish.

Under the face you can see some corals, which made with single pieces

 from 'The Tree' mould.

In the next few weeks you can see other projects with silicone moulds here.

I'm afraid the mould fever has me again fully in its grip. 😀

Until the next creative adventure!

Red poppies

Welcome creative friends!

Everywhere you can now discover poppies blooming again

in fields and meadows, beautiful!

unfortunately they always fade far too quickly.

That's why I was inspired to create a mixed media layout

where the beauty stays a little longer.

Tip to all scrapbook fans

here you can see that you can combine

MDF shapes and papers very well

some close up's

I created a window in weathered wood style with awning

and framed by two columns made with silicone mould

Wild Poppies shapes

have been divided into individual flowers and

arranged to the right and left side of window

painted with two shades of red acrylic color

stamens with glass microbeads and black acrylic color

completed with cut out paper poppies

and dryed leaves and grasses

Gift Box with 13@rts Rice paper

Welcome creative friends!

Gift wrapping is often needed and I love these gift boxes

because you can wrap the gifts so easily.

The bought ones are often boring and not very individual.

I used a beautiful rice paper, a stencil and some cut out motifs

  from the Spring Pastel collection

some close up's

I hope I could inspire you to try out your
very own individual box !

Thanks for your visit!
Happy crafting!
