Call me !

Welcome!

thanks for all your lovely comments on my Haunted Pharmacy, it was fab reading them all.

Today I am sharing with you

our new theme this month at Our creative corner
                                     Halloween Horror

our horror ;-) big Boss Laura says:
'' For this Halloween share with us some horror inspired creations that
are sure to send shivers down our spines.

Bring out your most grotesque stamps and embellishments....
....or perhaps take on the challenge of finding a way to transform pretty stamps into something macabre.
Reach for the grungiest colours and textures....
Come over to the dark side of Halloween ''

My idea was to make a little wooden frame with humor.
She says, I will call you -  yes, my one and only love - I will wait.
and he waits, and waits and ..... and if he is not dead, he is still waiting today ;-)
that's Horror , or ???

How I made this

my first idea, mostly it looks different at the end  ;-)

use black crackle creme + distress ink
(dye ink walnut stain + water in mini mister)

to ink Mr. Skeleton with firstly white Gesso and then distress ink walnut stain

for the background I use a piece old wallpaper, glue it on cardboard with Decoupageglue, spray a little bit water on it, rub it, added Metallic lustre and you will have an altered look

attached thick cardboard with hot glue gun

Forget cute cats and smiling pumpkins....

we want....

are offering the random prize winner
$20 voucher to spend at the Nicecrane Store

 Can you scare us??
Have fun and happy crafting!

  3. Kerstin! I LOVE this!! Oh this poor man, who is now a skeleton...and he's still waiting, even though all of the sand has run through his hourglass!! How many moons and suns has this poor soul seen pass by his window, just waiting for his true love to call? Maybe she'll finally call him in the afterlife? Happy October!! XOXO-Shari

  5. I love your idea Kerstin! I just can't stop thinking about how awful it would be to sit and wait for someone until there was only your skeleton left!! Lots of wonderful details and just perfect for our challenge from Laura.
