This year I have decided to create every month a new Tim inspiration tag, hopefully ;-)

no idea if it is always right techniques or products, 

I just do what comes to mind  and let me surprise what comes out at the end !

today a new home decor project for Tresors de Luxe

as I saw the great black lace, I thought, yes - just right for my home decoration project. It was a christmas gift and I was happy about this, but it must be more suitable to our home.

As you might have already noticed, I love contrasts, not only in colors, also in style. Generally are my favs altered items, but it can be also more fantastic and magic.  

But I will not tell so much, but rather show a lot here, or :-)?!

a combination from romantic vintage style with a touch of steampunk

that's my first tryings with the die 'Tattered flowers' from Tim Holtz

 with lighting 

crackle paint effects

distress ink + stencil diamonds
and this magical black lace

i use my new black laces and also for me new Bigz Dies 'Tattered flowers' from Sizzix,
 it was my first try to use lace in combi with steampunk touch and the contrast black/white in altered art

while cleaning up I found an old scrapbook paper from Prima Marketing ''Pixie Glen''

I love this collection and it was always too shame to use it

but today I thought, hopefully the icy cold winter will soon be over! 

I was inspired from some Mood boards this month, beautiful flowers and  delicate pastel colors

perfectly for my new Layout .

today a new project for Tresors de Luxe

I used a lot of laces and crochet pieces with beautiful details

which you can see on detail photos

I was always inspired from fabric collages and wanted to try it,

that's my first and what should I say,

I need to do more now :-)
 

I have sewed a cover from old cotton fabric

and created a fabric paper collage for my diary.

 Tutorial

how you make a 3D flower from laces,

 totally simple, but with effect!

cut a single flower, use a twine

 wrap around the center of the flower and fix it with a little bit hot glue

and finished

Tutorial

used materials

 used a cardboard and cute out a triangel

naturally you can use a canvas

embossed 3 stripes and paint with black gesso

color the background with Primary yellow and a little bit Naphthol Red light

glue the stripes on cardboard

Quin.....   Gold is really a difficult name ;-) but an excellent rost color, I love it

I use Tim Holtz stencil 'Rays' and black gesso

for my dangerous sign ;-)

a simple little envelope for interchangeable tags

embossed + Metallic Lustre silver
