Queen of Darkness - New Release with 13arts

Have you already discovered the new collections at 13arts???

a real secret tip, my vote  : 

 

Absolutely recommendable!!! 

 

I started with the 'Queen of the Night', this collection has something

 mysterious and magical about it. Elements like a romantic old gate, 

a weathered stone staircase or old trees stimulate my imagination. 

 

 

I created a mixed media layout in fantasy style. 

I guess I had Maleficent in back of my mind, 

the famous dark fairy from the Walt Disney movie.

I combined different elements from this beautiful collection with each other. 

The beautiful gate on vellum paper, Emphemera parts, 

cutouts and two background papers.

Contrasts - Moodboard Inspiration with Dusty Attic

I love to work with contrasts,  projects are more expressive, 

somehow it's done far too seldom.

Therefore the monthly moodboard was a very welcome change for me. 

I created a mixed media canvas with a favorite saying.

 

 

 

 

I chose some of my favorite parts from Dusty Attic 

and worked only with black and white gesso.

  Frame got some additional structure with texture powder, 

 corner was finally sprayed with white ink.

 As I was interested in free design, 

I also use the leftovers from 

the

Flower Buds #1

Easter Decor with MDF shapes

 

Welcome creative friends!

 

In these gloomy times it's really not easy to sit down happily and relaxed 

at the hobby table, but at some point you have to switch off.

 

I'm back to share with you my new Easter Home decoration.

I used a simply wooden bunny from an Euro Shop as base.

When I start a project like this I have never a plan, I like to go with my intuition.

 

 

I choose three spring typical shapes and 

was in love with the daffodils and chickens. 

 For the background I used water diluted chalk paint, 

MDF shapes were painted with acrylics.

Branches on the ears are twigs from a picked tree.

Moodbook 'Hello Spring' with 13arts

 I was inspired to create a minialbum or to be more exact

a moodbook for Spring.

I combined several materials like Ephemera, cut outs, foil elements from 13arts,

cutting dies, 

stamp motifs, fabric, lace leftovers

and dried plants.

It should give a little hope and optimism in these dark times.
