Welcome!
Our October challenge is, as usual...
We welcome all types of projects (except digitally created) and
encourage everyone to join us each month, whether this is your very
first make, or you are an experienced maker, and share your creations.
Show us your tags, cards, canvas, Artist Trading Cards/Coins, art
journal, altered objects - whatever you can imaging that fits our
steampunk/industrial theme. We are in awe of your creative imaginations
and use of materials, and look forward to each challenge to see where
your creative muse took you.
October and yes, just in time for Halloween :-) I was inspired to create a suitabel project, it's an industrial shadow frame. The big Boss Berti Batman - you can see him in forground
is in a particularly good mood today,
that means his employees prefer to hide in the last hiding place ;-).
Tips & Tricks
I love it to play with 3D effects,
here I used the a BAT trims (Etcetera Stampers Anonymous)
Tim Holtz Retro Typewriter die with structure and metallic paper
completed with a written document and some ghosts and bat dies
the shelf is very easy to create -
after gluing the trim I could easily attach it to the outside of the shadow frame
I used black acrylic paint with a little texture paste
finally highlighted with silver metallic wax
some close up's
My teamies at SASPC have come up with many
inspiring and different versions
on this Steampunk/ Industrial challenge.
We are looking forward to see your new creations!
Happy Crafting!
Kerstin
Actually I don't think I would want to work for Mr. Batman...not even when he is in a less "good" mood. lol
ReplyDeleteLove his hat though - and how his employees try to hide. giggle
The arrangement on top of the frame is once more pure Halloween magic and I love how the little bat at the bottom looks like it were the eyebrows of a huge Batman logo for the firm!!!!
Hugs,
