Fright Night

Hello crafty friends!

I'm back with a new inspiration for you.
So let's start with our monthly challenge at SASPC
- it is - as usual - an

themed challenge and all kinds of projects (except digitally created ones) are welcome! So show us your tags, cards, art journal pages, canvases, altered objects, drawings, paintings, sketches....whatever you're up to as long as it fits our challenge themes steampunk or industrial.

October has begun, yes it's time for Halloween, but not those nasty bloody monster stories, I love mystical and imaginative tales and so I was inspired to create a new Halloween mixed media canvas.

...Once upon in a cold, gloomy night when a strange light appeared behind the tombstone. Who drove his mischief there??? ...

I used a lot of Sizzix Halloween dies, old and new, I must say a collection of my favourites :-)

some details

T.Holtz transparent tiles -Halloween- stamped with white ink pad
behind it - embossed tombstone (cutting die Sizzix 'Headstone)

one of my absolutely favourite dies Sizzix 'Branch Tree'

Sizzix Tim Holtz Alteration Cobweb in background
with Sizzix Thinlits 'Feather & Ravens' in 3D look in front

Thinlits die Fall Foliage on a structure paper

3D Embossing folder 'Lumber' and cutting die Sizzix Alterations 'Planks'

My  teamies at SASPC have come up with many
inspiring and different versions
on the theme this time.
Please have a look and feel you inspired to create your own idea
it can also be a Halloween project ;-)

We are looking forward to see your new creations!
Happy crafting!
Kerstin

  1. I ADORE this tactile piece, so full of darkness and a story surely to be told within it. Amazing project Thank you for sharing.
