DT Scrap FX

Welcome!

today some inspirations for our new chipboards from
Scrap FX
My inspiration was a wonderful countryside,
a paradies for children in all times.

Yesterday - as  beautiful memories on forgotten childhood days.
All children always want to drive a tractor in the country.
They always happy,
  if this wish is fulfilled.

Scrap FX materials
Barbwire border
Countryside(black silhouette)
Mini fence and gate
Treasured Memories
Brick Stencil

I used an embossing powder Hammered Metal, really a cool shiny effect
and for the gears some acrylic rust paints.

and my second layout,  a lovely girl
and her horse passion
- Be awesome today -

used materials:

It's a combination from craft paper, burlap leftovers,
some metal embellishments
and this amazing black silhouettes.
I think it could also be very suitable
if the chipboards be unchanged
it's a natural look
and perfect for this theme

Welcome everyone!

I was so pleased and honoured to be asked  to join you all
as a Guest Creative Guide here
at Words & Paintery

This month the challenge theme is "Perfectly Imperfect"
I decided to make a very girlie layout suitable to this month challenge colors,
I choose a Prima background paper from the Love clipping collection,
this paper has some great copper metallic effects.
Together with a Chalkboard Mist Paint
(Violet Rose) from Tattered Angels a wonderful color combination.

DT Scraps of Darkness - Mixed Media Gift idea

Welcome!

Kerstin here and a new project for our Scraps of Darkness Kit 'Boys will be Boys'.
I was inspired from the wonderful Journaling cards Misc Me and the transparent stickers
by Bo Bunny,
in the Main Kit
perfectly for a new little friendship gift.
The denim blue star tags and buttons from the Element Add On kit
were also suitable for this mixed media canvas with a lot of favourite quotes.
You are smarter, braver and stronger
than you ....

I used varios spray mist's, also golden metalic paint for the background,
and made some blue highlights with Tim Holtz Salty Distress ocean crayon
 and a blue glitter paint
because

On the floor of the facts is clearly too little glitter :-)
and some close up's for you

Many thanks for your visit!
Have a nice day!

You can use so many various materials suitable to this background.

I have choosen some gears from the January Main Kit,
a flower from the March Elements Kit On
which I have divided into several parts,
the Splatter Arrows
colored with a little bit embossing powder and black acrylic paint,
the black sequins, the 'Collage des Ronds'  stamp here and there
and some clear stickers from Bo Bunny
stars, safety pin, signs and more

Enjoy your time

Welcome!

today a new layout inspiration with beautiful chipboards from Scrap FX, but I also love this wonderful black silhouettes, very filigree and always a good contrast
in your background.
You can leave them black but also paint with acrylic or glimmer paint.

A beautiful layout for a girl as memory to 4th birthday.
So I have created a cheerful and bright layout
with a stencil for background, some pastell paints, stamps, flowers
and punched butterflies.

more can you see here

I was inspired from the happy moodboard this month

Scraps of Darkness - Boys will be Boys

Welcome!
In the Main Kit you can find the Chesterville collection from Blue Fern Studio.
I Think this backgrounds are perfect for a masculine mixed media project.
The denim blue star tags and buttons from the Element Add On kit
were so very suitable for an old vintage photo with a little car mechanics.
Boys and automobiles  - a great passion.

I added with white gesso and stencils
some stars and a big black stain in the lower right corner.

some details

packaging material from the denim blue metal buttons
looks like original denim or? and so I used this also as a layer behind the photo

a little bit embossing powder only in some places and
some highlights with golden metallic wax
and the chipboards have an altered look

the wonderful denim star tag together with some
fabric leftovers and a little car embellishment under the button

I have split the arrow chipboard in two pieces
now it looks like a number One

Many thanks for your visit!
Happy crafting!
