Winterdays DT Maja Design

 Welcome Maja friends!

Recently we have made a beautiful winter trip in the mountains 'Harz'.
Snow and ice magically transformed the landscape into a winter fairy tale.

It's still February

and winter has us in its grip with lots of snow and icy temperatures.

A winter where you look forward to spring all the more. Hopefully it will be soon!

I used some paper sheets from the 'Holiday in the Alps' collection

Beauty of Winter DT Maja Design

 Welcome creative friends!

Winter isn't my favourite season, but this season also holds beautiful magical moments for us. One of them is when there has been hoar frost, everything sparkles and glitters and the world is like enchanted.

I was inspired to create a layout in grey, purple and red shades, our latest paper collection 'Winter is coming' was absolutely perfect for these wintry hues.

I used a black-and-white photography, which really came into its own

with the Maja winter papers used.

The elegant lady besides makes us literally feel the icy temperatures.

In Christmas Baking DT Maja Design

 Welcome Maja friends!

Have you seen the latest Maja Design collection by name 'Traditional Christmas' ?!

Great classical christmas colours, green and red, plaid, dotted ... which gave me the idea to create a cheerful canvas as a kitchen picture.

We love baking cookies with the kids in the run-up to christmas. it always takes a little longer and the kitchen is unrecognizable afterwards, but it's always a lot of fun.

Rainy days for DT Maja Design

 Welcome creative friends!

Have you yet seen our latest amazing paper collection ' Miles Apart' ??

If not - check them out! You'll love them!

Delightful colours and inspiring motifs, I was immediately in love with the motives.

I think it's a beautiful mixture of soft colors that are also suitable as background for masculine layouts maybe in grundge style. I have decided for a 12 x12 layout in vintage style suitable to the grey month November but also to this difficult times for all of us.

Miles Apart - Place of Longing For DT Maja Design

Welcome dear Maja friends!

Have you yet seen our latest amazing paper collection ' Miles Apart' ??

If not - check them out! You'll love them!

Delightful colours and inspiring motifs, I was immediately in love with the motives and

used the longing woman for an summer sea inspired layout. The motive seduced me once again to paint with acrylic colours and so the brush continued painting the cut out ephemera picture almost by itself.

Many of us spend their holidays in this year on balconies or in the garden, no question that can be very relaxing. But at the seaside it would be even more beautiful, healthy air and bathing in the sea, you can only dream of that this year. when I discovered this woman with this longing look, it fitted exactly to my somewhat melancholic mood.

more details can you find here

in the upper area I simply painted with a fan brush a few clouds and seagulls

I love this vintage woman look and chose some suitable acrylic colors

Lavender Garden DT Maja Design

Welcome Maja friends!

I was inspired to create a mixed media layout to a natural garden theme.

I love this time in my garden when the lavender is in bloom and it's a beautiful characteristic
because the dried lavender flowers keep their scent for an extremely long time.
They are ideal for decoration, potpourris and to fill sachets.

I used the paper sheet 'Lace' from the - Denim & Girls - paper collection as background and some cut outs from Vintage Spring Basics collection.  Matching the nature theme I added some chipboards from Dusty Attic, some remnants of lace & jute, sisal, dried & artificial lavender flowers and branches to the mixed media layout.

here I used the 'Juliette Balcony' - a chipboard from Dusty Attic
in weathered wood optic made with a crackle medium and distress inks

It's Coffee or Tea Time?! DT Maja Design

Welcome!

Today a new inspiration layout with our latest paper collection 'Little Street Cafe'.

It's so wonderful to enjoy a good cup of coffee with a delicious piece of cake in beautiful spring weather. Here you can only do this on the balcony or terrace at the moment, but when the sun is shining and with a good book in your hand, the day immediately looks friendlier again.

Happy Flower Girls - Scrapbooking Layout

Welcome creative friends!

I was inspired to create a mixed media layout as memory on a beautiful vacation last year
to Madeira, it's a beautiful island situated in the north Atlantic Ocean.

We visited the Flower Festival in spring.
There was an enchanting flower parade, where people danced happily through the streets.
A sea of colours, shapes and scents, simply unforgettably beautiful.

Always suitable for a spring or flowery theme is the latest amazing

Maja Design paper collection ' Little street Cafe'.

I used the paper sheet 'Something sweets' as background together with 'The best place'.  Matching the flowery theme I added some chipboards from Dusty Attic, some remnants of lace, and some Prima Marketing embellishments and flowers to the mixed media layout.

 Thanks for your visit!
Stay safe everyone and take care of yourselves and your loved ones...

Magical Forest DT Maja Design

Welcome!

I hope our winter, which was actually not a winter at all, is over soon.

Grey, wet and some days it just doesn't seem to get light at all.
But sometimes, even after frosty nights, you could discover a landscape
enchanted by hoarfrost.

This was my inspiration for my mixed media collage today.

 some close up's

At the last trade fair we made some mushrooms of egg carton with our children.
They made enthusiastically fly mushrooms, that seemed contagious
and so I was inspired to tried another variant myself.

I used our wonderful winter collection ‘Holiday in the Alps’

'Let it snow' ; 'Deers' and some suitable monochrome papers.

Many thanks for your visit!
Have  a good time!
