July Moodboard Dusty Attic

 Hello everyone!

Our monthly Moodboard inspired me to create a mixed media layout

with our darling dog Filou, who is now already 16 years old.

I chose the colour scheme based on our mood board

and used only a few chipboards as visual highlights and to set a few special accents.

Summer Home Decor with MDF Boat Kit

Hello!

I was inspired to create a new home decor piece in vintage grunge style.

Used  MDF Boat & Oars Kit

as base, which was easy to assemble and glue together.

Chose the model with shelf, so you could add a few nice assecoires

to give the whole thing an individual touch.

A door in a magical world

 Hello!

I was inspired to create a new magical shadow frame,

where I used some beautiful chipboards in nature look.

Love these designs inspired by nature and you can find a lot of them at Dusty Attic.

(the added paper elements are from the Magic Forest collection by Stamperia)

I used this magical  Gothic Arch

as frame in 3d look, that means I glued one part in background

and the other on the front part of the shadow frame.

For an old weathered look I use a crackle medium

with white gesso and some brown tones.

all other chipboards were first primed white gesso and then painted

with various brown acrylic paints. after drying,

some highlihts were set with white acrylic paint using an old wide dry brush

Summer Home Decor- Anchor

 Hello everybody!

Today a new Homedecor inspiration.

I used a mixed media board as base and created it in grunge rustic style.

Combined some of my favourite shapes with outcasts from moulds

(lighthouse and boat).

Everything should appear a bit dilapidated, old and forgotten.

For this look I chose some rust-like colours, complemented with different textures.
