Altered Bottle - Witching Hour

 

Hello creative friends!

 

 I was inspired to create again a bottle in altered Art. 

Using the layer technique, I have put together a number of different pieces

 to make an old raven witches' clock with a pendulum.

 I love these old bottles in a dark romantic style, you can just light them up 

and they create a eerily beautiful atmosphere.

Counterfeiting - Produktpiraterie

 I am angry and upset 

that this problem still hasn't been solved.

 

 

- Today one remark in our own interest -

I have discovered a brazen case of counterfeiting. 

Not only has my original been copied and imitated, but it is being sold in various shops

 

 with my original images.

Found it on Ebay; Amazon; Aliexpress

and various USA shops

 I point out that the design, size and material are not the same as the original 

 Furthermore, neither my consent nor objection has been sought!!

Altered Bottle Xmas

 Hello everyone!

 

Although Halloween is over,  these are the magical times of the year, 

we start with the preparations for christmas and 

long dark evenings invite again to tell stories.

 

I was inspired to create a new christmas gift project, 

it's a bottle in Altered Art.

 

I worked with Decoupage technique and combined this mixed media piece

 with MDF shapes, outcast's from silicone moulds and a lot of snow texture.

Sea Adventures - Altered Bottle

 

Welcome everyone!

 

I was inspired to create a glass bottle in altered art. 

  I simply love to work 

with moulds and modelling clay

and an Under the Sea theme is always one of my favourites. 

 

  An upcyling idea, I used a liquor bottle as base

 and modeled with silicone moulds and theme suitable MDF shapes.

glued as frame with assembly adhesives

supplemented with MDF shapes

and gauze

 

ship lantern was pressed into the still wet modelling clay with a piece of wire, 

it can move freely

a perfect rocking element in heavy sea 😅

after the drying process everything was painted over with black gesso,

only for the middle part I used grey chalky paint

 

coloured with green gold metallic wax and white acrylic paint

Altered Bottle Fairy House

 

Welcome creative friends!

 

I was inspired to create another bottle in altered art with illuminated effect. 

It's a little fairy house in enchanted forest.

 

 

Tips & Tricks 

DIY a bark roof

Sizzix 3D Texture fades 'Lumber'

Sizzix Bigz 'Planks'

colored with shades of green

dry brushed with white gesso

highlighted with a mini window and lantern, 

moss and a piece of dried tree bark

1. first punch out different sizes of the planks

2. embossing a wooden structure

3. use firstly Distress Stain and then the Distress crayon, I like to smudge it with my fingers

4. I divided some planks again and applied a total of 15 strips around the bottle with
    construction ahesive

5.  for a better fixation I have wrapped a firm strip around it and I bent the lower ends
     slightly upwards

6.  decorate the whole bark roof

Altered Art Bottle - Winter Magic

 Welcome creative friends!

 

I was inspired to create another glass bottle in Altered Art 

suitable to the magic christmas time.

 

Tips & Tricks

 

 

Firstly I covered the whole bottle with Weathered Wood, a crackle medium from DecoArt,then, after a drying time, I painted that with Chalky Finish 'Serene'. 

The middle section was painted with diluted paint for better visibility of the door windows.

 

 

I love it to decorate the flat MDF shapes with 3d effects using a silicone cake mould 'Gothic window'

with air drying clay, only the outer frame of the mould was used

one of the

Sheet of Mini MDF Street Lamps 

was perfect

for a hanhing lantern over the window

so that it is well fixed, it was pressed into the not yet completely dried clay

 and additionally fixed with construction adhesive this glue fixes all MDF shapes

 very well on glass, but you should note that it has to dry overnight for a stable hold

 

under the window was glued

 in small size as terrace, which gets additional hold by the swirls of the

Tutorial Sea Decorated Bottle - DT Dusty Attic

Hi creative friends!

 I was inspired to create another illuminated 

glass bottle in altered art.

 

 

 

Tutorial

1 choose some chipboards I used a border and a flourish element

  glue a piece of cheesecloth and the chipboards with construction

  adhesive on the glass bottle

2 create a pillar gate and a little mermaid with airdrying modeling 

   clay and silicone cake moulds,

2a I love to use some leftovers from the chipboards (here the

     bottom conclusion)

     borders are used on the sides

3  glued the gate and also added some shells and two pieces of driftwood as entrance steps

         afterwards the bottle was completely covered with crackle medium 'Weathered wood' (DecoArt)

4 after drying covered with a chalky finish paint for glass 'Relic' (DecoArt)

let it dry for a few hours

5 now two wax cremes 'Lavish Green' and 'Brilliant Turquoise'

 6   dry brush technique with white gesso to lighten the dark colour

finally added the little mermaid

after a light moistening with water

here can you see the used leftovers as sea waves 

on the bottle sides
