Nostalgie im Grünen - DIY Mixed Media Wanddekoration

 

Dieses DIY-Wandbild ist ein Geschenk für eine Gartenfreundin. 

Drei einzelne MDF-Paneele wurden mit filigranen Silikonformen verziert und zu einer harmonischen Wanddekoration verbunden.

Die detailreichen Ornamente, Blumen und der kleine Fensterrahmen verleihen dem Projekt einen romantischen Vintage-Look. Lasur und Patina sorgen für einen verwitterten Shabby-Chic-Effekt und lassen die Reliefs besonders plastisch wirken. Dezente Rostakzente, Krakeliereffekte und natürliche Strukturen unterstreichen den Eindruck, als hätte das Wandbild viele Jahre in einem alten Gartenhaus verbracht.

Die zarten Grün- und Türkistöne erinnern an verwittertes Holz und sollen an den besonderen Charme eines vergessenen Gartens erinnern.

So many creative possibilities.

 I designed a beautiful dog summer album as a reminder of relaxed holidays by the sea. For the cover, chippies matching the theme of dog and sea were chosen, which were first primed with white gesso. Next, I painted on the dog, accents with silver metallic paint and black outlines to make them stand out more.

A girl and her dog with Dusty Attic

 

 Hello!

 

My latest sea inspired layout with some beautiful chipboards from Dusty Attic.

It's a mix of boho and vintage style , I used some dried plants like grasses and thistles, 

I love that natural look, I played with distressed colours and different textures

 to make everything look a bit older.

 

 

 All chipboards were primed with white gesso, then painted with acrylics. 

Some were textured with powder. I

 love to divide the chippies because it opens up new possibilities. 

You often work in layers, which creates a vivid impression.

Hallo kreative Freunde! 

 

 Heute eine neue sommerlich inspirierte Wohndekoration, für Ihr eigenes Zuhause oder um einem Freund eine kleine Freude zu machen – was auch immer Sie brauchen! 

 Dies ist ein wirklich einfaches Projekt, das Sie im Handumdrehen umsetzen können Es eignet sich hervorragend als Wanddekoration für den Sommer. 

 Ich habe einen einfachen Metallring aus einem Euroshop verwendet und ihn etwas umgestaltet. Alles, was Sie noch brauchen, sind drei MDF Formen.

Sie wurden mit verdünnten Acrylfarben bemalt, außerdem habe ich Krakeleelack und andere Texturen verwendet, wie zum Beispiel das Einstreuen von Decosand. 

Das macht den Look definitiv interessanter.

Today a new scrapbooking layout with some awesome Dusty Attic chipboards.

I created a summer inspired 30 x 30 layout as a reminder

 of  beautiful seaside holidays.

Chipboards were painted with simple acrylic colours, 

only for the dog chippie I used a brown embossing powder.

In Memoriam

 

 Hello!

 

 I made a new photo frame in memory of our best friend.

 and used an old black wooden frame in the format 30 x 30 cm. 

I decorated it with maritime Dusty Attic chipboards. 

There you can find  a large selection suitable to this theme, love that!!

 

 I designed the chipboards using embossing powder or painted them

 with metallic or simple acrylic paints. 

For special texture effects, reflective beads or decosand were sprinkled into the still wet paint.

 To make the lighthouse look old and weathered, it was coloured with Distress ink 

and finished with a crackle stamp.

Album Summer Memories II

 

Hello everyone!

 

  I  created a sea inspired minialbum as memory on beautiful relaxed days.

 It has been equipped with many flaps, pockets 

and other storage possibilities to keep nice mementos. 

At Dusty Attic I found a lot of small special chipboards that fit perfectly to the sea theme.

 I used them as photo frames, to attach flaps (anchors) and as eye-catchers for decoration.
