Behind the Mask

Hi everyone,
today a new Mixed Media Collage to  theme
'Masks' by The Mirror Crack'd

I use the theme on canvas in two versions,
once as gothic mask and as stamp technique (face and clocks)

faux crack'd glass technique on foil over the stamped eye

  Mask technique with two stamps

1. stamp the face 2x (once of your background and the other of thin paper)

2. cut out one face, this piece you must put on the other face

3. with this mask you can stamp over this
 4. remove the mask and voila the result

The bug's life

Hi everyone,
I'm always fascinating from the Steampunkworld.
With Steampunk I have found one of "my" perfect genre - as it combines nostalgia, vintage and the idea of using future technology in a  brave new world!

The result is a new variety from beetles, dragonfly and turtle,
which can be seen even in the dark very well :-)

Tutorial and Ideas
for several structures

1. Stencil + Crackle paint
2. Stencil + Gesso
3. Embossing folder + metal embellishments
4. Pearlliner

added cardboard + pearls + dies
painted a part of image with black gesso

use spray paints + stencils as mask

use metallic paint Fluid Acrylics Silver + old gears from mechanical clockworks
beetles are from toy shop (silicone)

beetle from stencil and his brother in 3D

Inventive genius and adventurous romance are
what makes Steampunk so very special and exciting to me.

GD Berry Bleu 71

 Hi everyone,
I'm very happy and honored about this new GD by
Berry 71 bleu
thank you very much for invinting me :-)

- Books are friends -

a new art journal page in altered art style.
In background I worked with a napkin (books),
then I used a lot of stencils and stamps.
I love 3D and special effects, here I stamped a face.
In the upper part I made a cut, used a die for the tag and swirl.
So you can enter in minds of the lady :-)
and my page!

for this page I used for the first time Decoupage Antique as glue
and Antiquing Cream Titanium white and I must say I was thrilled about the result, you can see a really good aged effect.
The cream is fast drying but can easily be wiped back from undesired areas.

Challenge
Simon says stamp Monday Challenge
No ordinary paper (old book paper, napkin + natural gift paper for the tag)

Happy crafting!!
