Tavern of the Last Bite to Eat - Altered Book Halloween Inspiration

 All were invited to a spooktacular Halloween Dinner

in  Tavern of the Last Bite to Eat

 'Gasthaus zur letzten Einkehr'

but take care:

there is a note in the fine print 'Enjoy it could be your last' 👀

 

 

I was inspired to create a book in Altered Art, love it to tell stories

with my Mixed media projects. 

In the latest Halloween series by Dusty Attic 

you can find so many inspiring chippies,

HALLOWEEN

 that it's a pure joy!!

 

There are killer drinks on the menu, I'm afraid some had too much of it.  

Body disappeared, only bones are left, one lost his head and is now walking 

around with a pumpkin. 

 

But still they all seem to be very happy 😄

Fairy Girl - Inspiration for 13arts Months Challenge

  Welcome!

 

 Our latest challenge theme at 13arts is enchantingly beautiful, 

it transported me away to a magical fairy world. 

 

In the latest collection 'Aurora' I found everything for a mixed media layout 

 what a little fairy heart desires, a magnificent background paper, 

transparent wings and colour-matching flowers in Ephemera.

 I also used two other thematically nature inspired matching stencils,

 'Footsteps' and 'Dandelions'.

End of Summer for 13arts

 

 Welcome creative friends!

 

I was inspired to create a autumn layout in mixed media style.

I thought on harvest festivals and all the warm colours of autumn.

 

 

 

Used one of my favourite stencils from 13arts as base.

Summer Girl

Together with some papers from new collection

'Back in Time' and suitable to the autumn theme some cutouts from 

'End of Summer'.

 Mixed media project was completed with Color Glow 'Goldstone', an awesome warm autumn shade, die-cuts 'Fall Foliage' (Sizzix),

dried flowers and plants and an amazing little fairy (13arts 'Aurora' Emphemera).

 Transparent wings are a wonderful addition to the little fairy

Welcome everyone!

 

I was inspired to create a romantic tag with this awesome moorish window.

 I used only a few colours and completed this depiction of a moonlit night

 with a cutting die, a moon sticker and some dried nature materials.

Fall in coffee - Moodboard inspiration for Dusty Attic

 

Welcome creative friends!

Our monthly Moodboard is an absolutely wonderful inspiration, 

I'm a big fan of monochrome color themes,

 it has so much harmony and peacefulness for me.

 

 

 

 

 

I was inspired  to try something new again.

I wanted to bring more life into the flat picture,

 so I decided to hang a simple awning over the photo.

 

 

Used two straws, a border cutting die for front edge and matching paper.

Together with an outcast from silicone mould (Katy Sue Designs)

as a bottom border,

  a wonderful ambience in vintage style.

In ancient or modern times, it has always been a fine thing

 to sit down with a friend in a street café and chat about all the world and his wife.

 

to give the layout a suitable aroma

 I worked with fresh coffee powder and beans 😄
