Hello Pirates

 Hello !

Theme parties are becoming increasingly popular, and the wild pirate theme is particularly popular here in the summer. I have created a welcome sign to accompany it, inviting you into the dark, adventurous world of the oceans.

It's an upcyling project because I used an old wooden sign with the word HELLO shaped out of wire.

Secrets of the Sea

 Hello!

The ship was pulled underwater by the octopus. Sharks circle and guard this grave.

Experts think it could be the Flying Dutchman, a ghost ship

that was doomed to wander the oceans.

I created a shadow frame in mixed media style, for this I had to completely destroy

this new pirate ship, omg. It's broken into pieces on the ocean floor,

but someone will fix it up soon. 😉

He 's a Pirate

Ahoy, landlubbers 😀

The black pearl has taken off again, and the pirate adventures continue, at least for now.

I made a new shadowbox in grunge style with a touch of steampunk from a kit for a paper lantern.

I used self-produced rust to make everything look as old and cool as possible.

Even in the dark, it catches the eye; in the green glow, it appears on the horizon, having returned from the underworld to the world of the living.

Steampunk World

 Hello!

Der Fantasie sind keine Grenzen gesetzt, oder?!

und insbesondere das Steampunk-Genre ist eine Welt, in der alles möglich ist,

weil es eine Welt ist, die es nie gab!

Layered Apothecary cabinet with Dusty Attic chipboards

 Hello!

Today, I thought I'd show you one of my favourite pieces from DA. I've loved this piece since I first saw it. The multiple layers and the wood look I've given it, make it look so real.

Have you ever tried using embossing folders to change the cardboard chipboards?

It works really well, you just need to be patient to find the right plates to create the right print. I used the 3D Texture Fades (Sizzix Lumber). So,  how a cheap piece of furniture ended up as a noble oak cabinet.😀

It's become a real piece of jewellery, but it needs to be staged. Maybe on an album cover or a book box of herbal recipes, let's see.

Fairies Moon night - Enchanted Forest

 Hello creative friends!

Today I present you a sign, which has the enchanted forest as a theme.

I have tied two signs of different sizes with strings.

At a late hour in the meadow, under the bright glow of the moon,
the fairies have shown up, and there's a whole lot of stardust and flower-scented air.

They're dancing and laughing, making it a really magical moment, full of enchantment and wonder.

It's a truly happy place,  a place where you can switch off, relax and take your mind off things 😀.

If you want to know more about how this project was designed and made, please get in touch here.

Fairy furniture with Dusty Attic chipboards

 Hello!

Hey, maybe you remember my forest lantern I showed you a while back?

Well, today I'm introducing a new furnishing. It was a blast to create objects in 3D from existing flat chipboards. I got to use my imagination to make benches, chairs, and tables. I also used dried natural materials like small tree branches, bark, moss, acorns, and more.

If you've got any more questions about how it was made, just let me know!
