Fairy garden

Welcome,
today I will share with you a new mixed media canvas in spring colours

 for the background i used an old piece wallpaper, the stencil 'rays', white gesso and several spray inks and a script stamp

  
Frame: Rub on transfer, clear crackle paint, distress ink with waterdrops (spritz techn.)
embossing powder for the leaves (left side)




Challenges
 I used some Tim Holtz inspired techniques how Distress spritz or the great clear rock candy crackle paint (right side on frame)

  1. Oh my gosh Kerstin, this is so beautiful!! I love the raised frame idea and the crackle texture is amazing! Your fairies are so magical and you have built a wonderful garden around them with stamps and 3d flowers!! Gorgeous!! Loving that dragonfly, it's the perfect garden embellishment!!

  2. What a sweet canvas you have made! I particularly love the idea of using the frame as a little shadow box, and how you have crackled it! The background is such a treat for the eyes, and the colors so springlike and fresh! Just a beautifully put together piece with so many techniques used!
