Inspiration for Maja Design

Welcome!

 Happy News - I'm a new family member at Maja Design and I'm so thankful for this great opportunity. I’m in love with  the delicate shades of colours and motifs on the background papers, they are always perfectly harmonised and very suitable for a lot of project ideas.

 And now my first inspiration for our November Moodboard, two christmas tags in vintage style.

 

 I was inspired from the classic christmas colours red, green and white and used the new Maja Design Christmas Collection 'Joyous Winterdays' 6 x6 . How you will see I'm also a big fan from cutting dies

and I must say the quality of Maja papers are very good and perfect for punching.

 You are free to interpret the mood boards in any way you’d like. They are supposed to set you in an inspirational mood without too much controlling. Be inspired by the colors, poems, words and photos. Use it as inspiration!

Feel free to use any Maja papers as you’d like as long as they follow the colour scheme.

that has nothing to do with wizardry :-)

A dark forest but somewhere deep inside seems a magical light.

Trick or Treat for CCB

Hello!

Heute gibt es wieder eine neue Upcycling Idee zu sehen. Verwendet wurde ein kleiner Metalleimer, der ursprünglich als Aussaat- und Pflanzgefäß diente. 

  Zunächst wurde mit der Glimmer Glam 'Rustic' und schwarzer Acrylfarbe von Tattered Angels gearbeitet, mit ein wenig Wasser bringt man sie wild zum (Ver)laufen ;-)

 Im unteren Bereich wurde außerdem noch schwarz gefärbte Texture Paste eingesetzt.

 Wenn alles gut durchgetrocknet ist, kann man mit der Deko anfangen.

 

Ich habe aus schwarzen Karton ein Spinnennetz und einige Weinblätter ausgestanzt 

und zusammen mit ein paar Fledermäusen aufgeklebt.

Frilly and Funkie Challenge - Trick or Treat
unusual technique - I worked with a glimmer glam paint on metal without a basic medium,
now you can see extending effects

In dem Eimer kann man sehr gut Süßes verstecken,

 da er immer sehr aufmerksam beobachtet wird :-)

I'm back with a magical fantasy inspired layout.

Autumn is a wonderful season, it gets darker and more mysterious 

with shadows lurking around and the fog appearing like fantasy creatures of all kinds.

Halloween is knocking on your door

and so it's time for new ideas for some

  mystical and magical layouts.

Halloween - Tealight holder

Hello my friends!

Today I want to share with you a new inspiration for Halloweentime.

 There are some wooden tealight holder as home decoration.

I used the wonderful Thinlits dies 'Haunted House' and 'Fall foliage' 

and an ATC stamp from Sizzix - Tim Holtz .

 

 here I worked with some silicone moulds and air drying modelling clay

Halloween series - Witching Hour

Welcome!

  I love fantasy stories  in spooky forests with misty figures and phenomens, where the fog creates eerie optical effects.

Halloween time is near and so I had a lot of fun to create a little witches house with this amazing wooden shapes from Calico Craft Parts.

look before I started with decoration and painting

basically colored with Chalky finish Paint Vintage from Decoart and Glimmermist from Tattered Angels 'Woven Burlap' and a little bit water diluted black color

I'm  always fascinated from this natural wooden shape look and I think it isn't always necessary to paint them, or?!

I only used orange and black acrylic colors, 

the classical Halloween shades with a little bit shimmer, to paint some wooden shapes

 

oh what is that??? a phenomenal magic effect ;-)
