Ein neues Thema bei Fashionable Stamping Challenge - A birthday card for someone special
Eigentlich bin ich nicht der große Kartenbastler, irgendwie reicht mir der Platz immer nicht aus ;-)
Aber zum aktuellen Thema mußte es einfach sein. Entstanden ist eine quadratische Karte (14 x 14 cm) zum Männergeburtstag für einen echten Gentlemen, wer das ist, wird hier natürlich nicht verraten ;-)

I'm not the big card crafter, somehow always not enough space for me ;-)

The result is a card to the man's birthday for a real gentlemen, who will not reveal here of course ;-)

da ich ein großer Fan der 3D Objekte bin, habe ich zunächst die Schreibmaschine auf Folie gestempelt, den Schriftzug auf Papier, ausgeschnitten und als Banner gerollt und mit Pad aufgeklebt

 I'm a big fan from 3D objects, first I have stamped the typewriter on foil, than lettering on paper, cut out and rolled as a banner and affixed with pad

T!M Inspiration August Tag 2014

Hi friends,
besonders interressiert hat mich diesmal das völlig freie Thema, den Ideen freien Lauf zu lassen und zu sehen wohin die Reise geht. Ich hatte sowohl beim Arbeiten mit der Paint Marble Technik den Überraschungseffekt, als auch letztlich beim Fotografieren. Seht selbst!

especially interrested the completely free theme, to create showcasing your own creative muse and yes I must say -  it doesn’t get any better than that -  see where the journey is going on. I had both when working with the paint marble technique the surprise effect, and ultimately shooting. See for yourself!

I'm singing in the rain

 verwendet wurden natürlich wieder meine Reinkers, Rub on Transfers, Stempel (auf Folie, deshalb seitenverkehrt ;-)) Stanzform (umfunktionierte Weihnachtslaterne, weil sonst hätte er im Schnee tanzen müssen ;-)) Krakelierfarbe und Patina.

used were of course my Reinkers, rub on transfers, stamp (on foil, therefore reversed ;-)) die lamppost  crackle paint and patina  

hier noch eine Nahaufnahme, sonst sieht man den Effekt, der unter die Flüssigtinte gemischten Perfect Pearls gar nicht ;-)

DT Steampunk Challenge In the Laboratory

today a new project for our Steampunk Challenge In the Laboratory

ein alter Spruch aus der Schulzeit war der Aufhänger für meine Idee:

 ,,Physik ist das, was nie gelingt - Chemie ist das, was knallt und stinkt ''

kennt ihr ihn noch?? 

an old saying from the school days was the linchpin for my idea:
Physics - that is what never succeed  - chemistry is what bangs and smells "

The Chemist

aus einer alten Holzschachtel (Tee) ist ein kleines verstaubtes Labor entstanden. Für so profane Dinge wie Staubwischen und Spinnweben entfernen, hat der große Erfinder keine Zeit ;-) 

Er sucht nach einer neuen Tinktur für die ewige Jugend. Ich würde sagen, langsam wird es auch Zeit, er ist schon ganz blass und seine Falten im Gesicht sind nicht mehr zu übersehen ;-)

A small dusty laboratory was created out of an old wooden box (tea). The great inventor ;-) has no time for remove such mundane things such as dust and cobwebs. He's looking for a new tincture for eternal youth. 

 I would say it is slow time, he is quite pale and his lines on his face are not more to see ;-)

er hat schon viele Rezepte ausprobiert, was man unschwer an seiner alten, befleckten und durchlöcherten Schürze erkennen kann und dennoch stehen die Räder der Zeit nicht still!!

He has tried many recipes, which can be seen easily on his old, stained and perforated bumper, and yet the wheels of time won't stand still!

er studierte unzählige wissenschaftliche Abhandlungen, schrieb geheime Texturen in sein Tagebuch und doch blieb ihm des Rätsel's Lösung verborgen. Könnt ihr ihm helfen?!

He studied countless scientific papers, wrote secret textures in his diary, but the puzzle's solution remained unknown to him. Can you help him?

Seid kreativ und schafft eurer eigenes Rezept, der Zahn der Zeit nagt an jedem von uns ;-) aber laßt ihn nagen, mit jedem Moment, der uns Spaß und Freude bringt, erhalten wir uns jung und dynamisch - zumindest im Geist :-) oder??

Be creative and create your own recipe, the ravages of time eating at each of us ;-) but let it gnaw, with each moment that brings us pleasure, we get a young and dynamic - at least in the spirit us :-) or?

GD Frilly and Funkie Challenge Hipe to be square

Hi friends,

I'm feeling very honored to be invited as a guest designer here at Frilly and Funkie Challenge
to topic Hip to be square - Create something based on a cube 

meine erste Reaktion war, -upps- keine Idee auf die Schnelle ;-) Ich hatte diese Artist Trading Blocks schon gesehen, aber noch nie versucht, aber genau das liebe ich besonders, etwas Neues auszuprobieren - eine echte Herausforderung eben.
Inspiration war für mich, das letzte Thema bei Frilly and Funkie Vintage travel und natürlich
(wie fast immer hier auf meinem Blog ;-)), mit einem leichten, aber unverkennbaren Steampunktouch!

Inspiration for me was the last topic by Frilly and Funkie Vintage travel and of course

(as almost always here on my blog ;-)), with a slight but unmistakable Steampunktouch!

Tell me your story

 

um den Kontrast zu verstärken sind die Hauptmotive (Auto, Eisenbahn) mit wasserfestem Stempelkissen auf Folie gestempelt

to increase the contrast, the main motives (car, train) are stamped with waterproof pads on foil

 ich arbeite sehr gern mit Embossing Foldern, hier etwas schwierig zu erkennen (Tim Holtz Alterations Travel signs set) Reifenspuren und Schriftzug

die Würfelkanten entstanden mit schwarzer Krakelierfarbe und meinen heißgeliebten selbst gezogenen ;-)

Rostpigmenten

I very enjoy working with embossing folders, difficult to see anything here (Tim Holtz Alterations Travel signs set) tire marks and lettering

the cube edges created with black crackle paint and my beloved even drawn ;-)

Rust pigments

 immer passend zum Altered Art Style natürlich verschiedene Distressfarben, ich nutze vorwiegend die Reinker Flüssigtinte verdünnt mit Wasser im Mini Mister als Sprühfarbe

always suitable to the altered art style of course various colors of distress, I use the Reinker liquid ink primarily diluted with water in the mini Mister as spray paint

 Minibuch mit Embossing Schriftzug (Embossing folder Sizzix Travel Signs)

ein ganz großes Dankeschön geht an unser ''Wiener Madl '' für die Inspiration zum Ansetzen einer eigenen Rostkultur, ich arbeite jetzt sehr viel mit diesen natürlichen Rostpigmenten - wie man hier beim -explore- Schriftzug erkennen kann, es entsteht der Eindruck von einem uralten rostigen Blechschild

Mini book with embossing lettering (embossing folder Sizzix travel signs)

a big thank you goes to our ''Vienna Madl'' for inspiration to attach an own culture of rust, I'm now very much with these natural pigments of rust - as can be seen here at the-explore-lettering, gives the impression of an ancient rusty metal sign

das Minibuch entstand aus alten Buchseiten, Graupappe als Einband und der Bucheinschlag ist ein Stück Strukturtapete ;-)
 

the mini book arose from old book pages, grey cardboard, cover is an old piece of texture wallpaper ;-)

Der Würfel hat mir viel Spaß gemacht und wird garantiert nicht der letzte seiner Art gewesen sein :-)!!

The cube was a great fun for me and will have been guaranteed not the last of its kind :-)!

Hi friends,
a new theme on Fashionable Stamping Challenge
einen geeigneten Stempel für dieses Thema zu finden, war etwas schwierig. Deshalb steckt eher eine Geschichte mit Augenzwinkern dahinter, wie wir sie alle sicher schon einmal erlebt haben ;-)

 

to find a suitable stamp for this topic, it was somewhat difficult. Therefore rather behind a story with tongue in cheek, we all sure ever seen have ;-)

Need Vacation

 

 der Rahmen ist eine alte Telefonzelle und das Mädel hat ihrer Freundin so viele Urlaubsneuigkeiten zu erzählen, das ihr bestes Stück ;-) dringend schon wieder Urlaub braucht,

aber bitte in einer telefonfreien Zone!!

auch in unserer heutigen Handyzeit hat sich daran absolut nichts geändert, im Gegenteil, oder??

die Menschen unterhalten sich nur noch mit ihrem Handy, nichts geht mehr ohne ;-)

 he frame is an old phone booth and the girl has to tell her friend so many holiday news ;-) strongly again need their best piece of holiday

 

but please in a phone-free zone!

absolutely nothing has changed in our modern mobile times, on the contrary, or?

By the Sea

Hi friends,

it's one of my favorite themes and perfect with the new beautiful paper collection from Graphic 45.

Summer sunshine -It's hot, all yearn for cooling. I wish I could me quickly to the sea beam ;-) that unfortunately is not possible at the moment and so I console myself with the implementation of creative ideas.

I have an old decoration part recycled and so arose a new vintage Beach basket. Our children need a parasol, because so they get no sunburn ;-)

Little Mermaid

Hi friends,
it's time for a new idea for Our creative corner - Summertime
Summer time - the traditional time for rest and relaxation. I enjoy to go to the sea, to let your mind wander, to walk along the beach to look beautiful motives and photograph,
but of course, time to lie in the sand, listening to the sound of the sea and dream.
That was the idea behind my project.
Sommerzeit - die traditionelle Zeit für Erholung und Entspannung.  Ich geniesse es ans Meer zu fahren, die Seele baumeln zu lassen, am Strand entlang zu gehen, schöne Motive zu suchen und zu fotografieren,
aber natürlich auch Zeit im Sand zu liegen, dem Meeresrauschen zu lauschen und zu träumen.
Das war die Idee hinter meinen entstandenen Projekt.  

Aus dieser Idee ist ein Keilrahmen im Mixed Media Stil entstanden.

Little Mermaid

 Kombiniert wurden verschiedene lichtdurchlässige Farben, optimal fur eine Wasserdarstellung :-), Schablonen, Elemente, die mit Hilfe von Gießformen hergestellt wurden und am Strand gesammelte Muscheln.

Ich habe die neuen Farben der Firma Decoart (LaBlanche) genutzt, (Neuerwerbung, die unbedingt gleich ausprobiert werden musste :-)) die je nach einfallendem Lichtwinkel in verschiedenen Nuancen erscheinen (was, das fotografieren allerdings etwas erschwert ;-), in Natur sind die Farben dunkler.

Ich habe immer verschiedene Töne gemischt (Gold, Türkis, Grün, Violett) dadurch war das Endergebnis und der Überraschungseffekt am Ende um so größer :-)

I used the new Interference Acrylic Fluids from Decoart, (LaBlanche), a new acquisition, which had to be sure to try the same :-), a beautiful translucent colour , which change in different shades in appearance depending on light angle (what the photograph somewhat difficult ;-), in nature the colors are darker. 

 A wonderful effect!!

Were combined various translucent colors, ideal for a water presentation, templates, items that were produced with the help of molds on the beach and collected shells.

I've always different tones mixed (gold, turquoise, green, violet)  the result and the surprise at the end was  greater :-)
