My New Love - Mr. Art Journal :-)

Welcome friends,

I have discovered a new fascinating subject for me, it combines words and pictures. Surprising that it has not grabbed me earlier, because I was always trying to tell stories with my projects. Probably it had to come to maturity, the more it excites me now! The foundation for this I laid in April with my post's Geboren um zu leben and Because I'm happy
From the idea of a Pensieve by Prof. Dumbledore (Harry Potter) I've always been fascinated to be able to store memories, thoughts and feelings easily, on the one hand they can not blow my head then ;-), but above all, they are also rescued from oblivion!

 Time - Rad der Zeit

Sometimes you get the feeling of being overrun by the wheels of time, you know that?  

like a mighty wave...

Since there seems to be no specific regulations on this subject, I have created my own targets. It's for me a space to experiment and document, capture memories. Things, that's  have really moved me in my life, which are important to me!
At the same time it is also a way to break out of this illusory world and  call a spade a spade honest and sincere, without thinking about the consequences.

Supply list: mask stencil gears and stencil words

that was just the beginning of a series of art journaling pages, I had incredibly great time working on the pages of an old craft calendar!

First Swap - Little things

Welcome friends,
please excuse that's now only in my own language, but unfortunately my English is not so perfect that I can let my mind wander. If you interested, please use the translation program, if everything here would translate, you wouldn't see the beautiful inspirations.

Mein erster Swap und ich musste doch bei dem tollen Angebot noch nachfragen, was das ist, oh, oh! jetzt bin ich aufgeklärt und voll im Bilde (hoffentlich ;-))
Für den Anfang sollte es etwas kleines, wenig aufwendiges sein, aber da fing für mich schon das große Nachdenken an,  wenn man von so einem talentierten Mädel,
wie unserer Claudia - Amelie Von Pappe II gefragt wird,

dann sollte es auch etwas Besonderes sein, 
Klein, aber oho - Small, but tough
sozusagen.

Also machte ich mir erst mal einen Knoten ins Gehirn und es entstand eine klassische Blockade, es war alles nicht gut genug, bevor der Verdrängungsstratege in mir aber voll zum Einsatz kam, warf ich alles über Bord und kam zum Kerngedanken des Ganzen -  es sollte eine Original Kerstin (mit all ihren Stärken und Schwächen) sein, also wählte ich meine Lieblinge - Farbkombinationen und Strukturen in Verbindung mit einem weisen Spruch, der bei mir immer mit einem Augenzwinkern zu verstehen ist, passend zugeschnitten auf das, was ich von ihr schon kennenlernen durfte.

Jetzt habe ich aber genug von meiner Seite geplappert, schließlich möchte ich euch zeigen, was bei mir ankam und worüber ich mich zum Weihnachtsfest total gefreut habe und völlig aus dem Häuschen war und immer wieder bin!!

Beginnen werde ich mit dem Umschlag, der aussah wie eine Prachtcollage, wie man mit soviel Elementen spielen kann, welche dann letztendlich ein harmonisches Ganzes ergeben, echt beeindruckend!

Im Vordergrund steht übrigens meine Lieblingsinspiration, der wunderschöne Mond (der im Original noch viel schöner ist, als auf dem Bild) den ich von ihr u.a. als Weihnachtsgeschenk (das Beste zum Schluss :-)) bekam

Zunächst dieses wunderschöne Tag, super was man mit Farben, Strukturen und Metallic-

effekten so anstellen kann und Geistesblitz-

momente bekomme ich, wenn ich dieses tolle Steampunktag betrachte,  edel, klasse Strukturen und zarte Glanzeffekte!

Die Wirkung hat ihr Ziel auch schon erreicht, die erste Inspiration wurde schon umgesetzt ;-)!

An diesem ATC mag ich besonders den Crackleeffekt und die Hintergrundgestaltung mit dem Seidenpapier, eine wunderschöne Farbkombination in warmen Kupfertönen passend zum Metallicstyle des Steampunk, der bei vielen Bastelfreunden immer noch durch den Wortteil 'Punk' abschreckend wirkt. Ich denke, das Potential was in dieser Stilrichtung steckt, haben viele einfach noch nicht erkannt.

Das Faszinierende daran ist doch, das dem Einfallsreichtum keine Grenzen gesetzt sind, man kann Dinge erfinden und auch begreifen, wer kann das heute noch in unserem Computerzeitalter, ich zumindest eher weniger, ich bin doch immer wieder sehr
beeindruckt ;-), wenn mein Blog oder Notebook ein Eigenleben entwickelt und ich dann nicht mehr verstehe, was die Welt im Innersten zusammenhält.
Gerade im Kreativbereich  ist es doch ungemein spannend festgefahrene Wege zu verlassen, sich ausprobieren zu können und den Spinnereien freien Lauf zu lassen.

Ja und Joy brauchte nicht erst dran stehen, die hatte ich total und ohne Ende - das war wie Bescherung, und schöner!

 wie versprochen, das Beste zum Schluss - mein Weihnachtsgeschenk und neues Schmuckstück

wow, ein echtes Meisterstück, die Liebe zum Detail spricht für sich und Nomen est Omen - lucid mind  = brillianter Geist und Kreativität, was aus jedem ihrer Projekte spricht!

Ich habe mich riesig gefreut, die neuen Inspirationen haben ein Ehrenplatz im Regal bekommen

und ich freue mich jetzt schon auf eine Wiederholung und weiß das ich beim nächsten Mal wesentlich entspannter bin und es eine 100%ige Kerstin (3D) wird!

Ein ganz großes Dankeschön noch mal an dieser Stelle und nicht nur für meinen ersten Swap

sondern auch für die Aufbauprogramme ;-), wenn ich in dieser perfekten Scheinwelt wieder zu erfrieren drohe.

Happy New Year again

   "Christmas Leftovers"

Recycle your Christmas garbage. Gift wrap, empty gift wrap rolls, gift bags,

 gift boxes, tissue paper, ribbon...etc.

The project itself doesn't have to have a Christmas theme, just the items to use to make it.

I decided to make an old or new ;-) altered Box from a christmas box. I love to play with colors and textures in Vintagestyle.

 box was first painted with white acrylic paint, then I have worked with various effect creams 
 (Facettenlack Croco Crackling Colour Veneziablau and silver cream)

then worked with distress spray inks /vintage photo + walnut stain  

sprayed and wiped

also added a few snippets old book pages with decoupage glue and

 a crackle stamp + staz on Jet Black stamped

 flowers are punched from old book pages and bright jeans cloth

Croco Crackling Creme silver applied in different strength

Altered Book Nutcracker Suite

Hi romantic fan's,

the time was right for a new christmas gift, she is also a great ballet fan as I and admired my altered book from last year. Perhaps so I think, it's a good idea to make a little surprise in addition to the tickets, which she becomes from her friend.

Mix from various beautiful stamps and scrapbookpaper - La Blanche + Graphic 45

icecicle, branches, snowflakes dies, embossing folder Sizzix (music notes)

punches, Distress inks vintage, peacock feathers, walnut stain, black soot

the stamp motives were painted with distress inks

Clara and her best friend the nutcracker

 motif was cut from a scrapbook paper (Graphic 45), 

 little rock ballet originated from a punched snowflake
