A visit to the Zoo with Dusty Attics

 

Welcome creative friends!

 

 Kerstin here, to share a new inspiration layout in mixed media style

 with some beautiful Dusty Attic chipboards.

There's always a lot to see and experience on a visit to Zoo.

 

Our favourites are always the funny little meerkats. 

 

I used a tropical black and white background paper, 

tropical leaves chipboards were perfectly for me. 

They look very natural, I painted them with olive green, 

black acrylic paint and a little texture paste. After drying they were highlighted

 with green golden wax cream.

 Welcome everyone!

 

Der Grüne Mann

ein Symbol für die Einheit zwischen Mensch und Natur,

 steht für Strahlkraft und Lebendigkeit.

 

Die reinste Inspirationsquelle für mich, 

 bin immer wieder begeistert von diesem ausdrucksstarken Gesicht.

Dieses Mal stand die Verschönerung einer alte kupferfarbene Blechkanne auf dem Programm.

 

 

Zwei Silikonformen von Katy Sue Designs reichten aus, um damit verschiedenartige Pilze und dieses verwitterte Baumgesicht zu gestalten. 

Gearbeitet wurde wieder mit luftrocknender Modelliermasse.

A captured moment GD with Scrap and Me

 

 Welcome everyone!

All girlies likes to sit on the swing especially in a beautiful garden, a wonderful feeling.

I was inspired to create a flower swing with lace and cut out flower motifs.

Colour your world 13@rts Month challenge

 

 Welcome!

 

Think outside the box was a truly challenge for me, such a lot of colours, real an explosion. 

It reminded me of those festivals where they throw coloured powders. I actually only ever use a few colours on a project and then use them in shades.

 

 

Today something different from me. I have divided the layout from the grey everyday life into the dazzlingly colourful world of art.

I used papers and cut out motifs from 'Young and Free' collection, 

Color Glow watercolours and 

RAINBOW COLOR powder paints and a 

Flower stencil (Pastel Spring)

 

I love it to complement mixed media layouts with outcasts 

from silicone moulds (Stamperia) and cutting dies (Sizzix)

It's summer time here, and you think fondly of a refreshing swim, preferably in the sea of course :-)

Sea Adventures - Altered Bottle

 

Welcome everyone!

 

I was inspired to create a glass bottle in altered art. 

  I simply love to work 

with moulds and modelling clay

and an Under the Sea theme is always one of my favourites. 

 

  An upcyling idea, I used a liquor bottle as base

 and modeled with silicone moulds and theme suitable MDF shapes.

ship lantern was pressed into the still wet modelling clay with a piece of wire, 

it can move freely

a perfect rocking element in heavy sea 😅

after the drying process everything was painted over with black gesso,

only for the middle part I used grey chalky paint

 

coloured with green gold metallic wax and white acrylic paint

+ Art stones in various sizes

 

highlighted with golden metallic wax

Scent of Lavender GD with Scrap and Me

 

 Welcome everyone!

 

 Lavender is blooming and fragrant everywhere these days,

 a wonderful time that is associated with unforgettable memories for me.
